We understand being in relationship with the church through the lens of 1 Corinthians 12:12–13:

“For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit.”

What is Partnership?

We recognize that we are all members of the body of Christ; we rejoice, experience sorrow, and seek Christ together. Our Partners are people who have made a commitment to be a part of the life of Belong Church.

Partners do their best to do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with God.

Our Partners are the people who help to lead Belong Church through service and visioning as we grow.

Why become a Partner?

Partnership empowers us to discover our gifts and prepare to give them to our church, our neighborhood, and our world. Partnership allows you to make a commitment and to receive a commitment from Belong Church.

Through partnership, we believe that God gives us to one another, to watch over one another in love. We are committed to each other so we may grow in grace together.

Partners are a part of this body, they are an integral part of the decisions that we make, the ministry that we do, and our witness in the world.

What is expected of Partners?

We are partners in working to proclaim and become the good news of Jesus Christ. Partners walk together: if one member suffers, all suffer together with them; if one member is honored, all rejoice together with them.

Partners commit to offer their prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness to the Kingdom through Belong Church.

We ask Partners to move from “guest” to “host.” Don’t just sit on the sideline and watch what we are doing; you are invited to join in on what God is doing through Belong Church.
