Belong Kids Worship: What to Expect

Before Sunday worship begins at 10:30 a.m., families are invited to meet Kimberly Peters and check in their kids in the lower level of the church building. Then, at 10:30, everyone will worship together in the sanctuary. After the opening songs and welcome, kids are dismissed downstairs for children’s worship for the duration of worship service. Our Celebrate Wonder curriculum focuses on the wonder of God’s presence in our everyday lives, so your child will come home each week with a question and a spiritual practice that families can work on together.

Volunteer

We hope that you will consider volunteering with our program. As many of you know children’s ministry is dependent upon the mentorship and participation of the adults within our community. When we baptize children in our tradition each one of us present makes a promise to do our best to help teach and guide the children of our community in knowing the love of God. Please keep your eyes open for an email with a sign-up to participate in the important faith tradition that is mentoring the younger generations. If you are interested in volunteering, please know that a background check is required to work with the children.
